Al Muawd Stud came back to home from ABU DHABI International Arabian Horse Championship with the lion’s share of prize money that reach over 14 million Emirate dirhams for fillies, colts, mares and stallions. Al Muawd won more than 2 million Saudi riyal as a result of positions that achieved at qualifications and finals of the championship’s events where curtain brought down on Saturday. Al Muwad’s productions started strongly in fillies one year old qualifications through Cinderellaa Al Muawd, Ryaanh Al Muawd and Hawazin Al Muawd which all came in the first three positions, respectively. In fillies two years, Evangeleen IA and Mahbuba both came in first place. Also, in mares 4-5 years, Al Muawd Stud achieved second place by AV Dalia, while in mares 6-7 years Elirdia came third.
Al Muwad Stud beat all in colts one year’s class by colt Sabea Al Muwad, then achieved stunning results in colts two years, by War Song who came second. All these results was within qualifications events which it’s prize money reach 100 thousand Emirate dirhams for each first seven positions.
At the end of championship which based on judges votes, not points, Emirate’s studs won first three positions in fillies’ championship, represented by Al Zoubir for owner Mohammed Al-Thani and Al Aryam for owner Mohammed Al Qasimi. While in fillies two years old, Al Aryam Stud achieved first place ahead of Mahbuba owned by Al Muwad Stud. And in mares’ championship, Ajman Stud won first place, Al Jazeera came second and Dubai came third.
Bad’e Al Hawajer came second in colts one year’s class behind Al Ayal Moniscione for his owner Sheikha Amna Al Nuaimi, while colt Mistral RTA came third. Colts three years old silver went to Athbah Stud for owner Abdulaziz bn Ahmed through Ascot DD who came first in qualifications, while Sabea Al Muawd came third. Lastly, stallions’ events have been launched, Ajman stud achieved first and second positions and Dubai stud came third.
